We’re still adjusting to life following the holidays, and coming to terms with the fact there seems to be 5698 days in January. To celebrate this chaotic time of year we released a winter version of a MLMH favorite. This month’s tee steal is a buttery soft solid gray tee, with our fav motto in metallic silver ink.
Find the best color combo for your tee
One way you can have fun with your outfit is to pick a color combo and run with it. Try experimenting with different tones of the same colors – this will bring your look together but not in a monochromatic way (although we love that look too!). One of my favorite color combos is pink & gray. As soon as I saw this January’s tee steal I knew I was going to add pink to it. I went with an over-sized cardigan from Target that had a couple of different tones of pastel pink, hot pink booties, and pink and purple bracelets.
Ways to add color to your look
- Shoes are a girl’s best friend – it’s no secret I love shoes. They can easily change your look from day-to-night. Throw on a pair of bright-colored booties to go to lunch with your girlfriends – or a pair of comfy leopard sneaks for running errands.
- Jewelry – you don’t have to wear expensive jewelry to add a little sparkle and color to your outfit. A couple of stacked bracelets from T. Zaelle, or a pair of hoop earrings from Target can elevate your look. Have fun and experiment with different earring types, necklaces, or bracelets.
- Layering is functional & looks great- our graphic tees are versatile and can be worn all year long, however, they’re still short-sleeved. One way to stay cozy and change your look is to layer. We love over-sized cardigans from Target, or Anthropolgie, MLMH loose knit cardigan, and shackets (available in store at MLMH headquarters).
