Easy Iced Coffee at Home – 2 Ways!

This week I thought I’d share two new iced coffee recipes with you, but first I want to chat about just how easy it is to brew your own coffee, at home! First, let’s talk about my 3 ways favorite to brew those beans for the best iced coffee:

  • Brew using a traditional coffee maker. (The Ninja Coffee Bar is my personal fav, especially if you’ve got more than one person brewing coffee!) This machine allows you to brew over ice, which essentially is brewing a more concentrated coffee to account for the ice melt. It really does brew a great cup of iced coffee!
  • Brew using a french press. I’m working on another post that details how to use a french press if you haven’t, but this is a simple and affordable way to brew really delicious coffee at home! Personally I have a glass french press like this one, but a stainless one (like this) is also great because it’ll keep the coffee nice and hot and is more durable!
  • Brew using the Toddy Cafe. My absolute favorite way to brew up Cold Brew coffee is using the Toddy Cafe. This is what the majority of coffee shops (even those big name chains) use to brew theirs. The felt filter makes a really big difference!

To summarize, there are many ways to brew your coffee at home and one thing you don’t need is an expensive machine! If you’d like more info on a specific brewing method feel free to leave a comment below! Let’s get to these two iced coffee recipes!

Chocolate Hazelnut Iced Coffee

This has been my favorite sweet coffee to date. To start, I went ahead and brewed up our Hazelnut Cream Coffee in the french press, and while I was waiting I gathered my additional ingredients. Here’s what I used:

Now that we have those gathered, here’s how to assemble it:

  • Drop one piece of candy inside your glass, pour the desired amount of coffee over the top, I used 8-10 ounces. Set aside and let the warm coffee melt the candy.
  • While you’re waiting, put about 1 tsp of Nutella into a small dish and heat in the microwave until it starts to thin out (I did about 30 seconds.)
  • Pour about 1/4 cup of Chobani Sweet Cream over top of the Nutella, stir with a spoon or small spatula to incorporate, then (if desired) froth up into a cold foam!
  • Use a spoon or small spatula to stir coffee/candy combo. An optional step that I did not take is to strain the hazelnut pieces out of your coffee. I personally liked the extra texture so I didn’t strain! Once combined (and strained if desired) fill your glass with ice.
  • Pour the cold foam on top, add a drizzle of dark chocolate syrup if you’d like and most importantly, enjoy your delicious chocolate hazelnut iced coffee without ever having to leave the house!

Coconut Caramel Iced Coffee

Tune in on TikTok

I am not a huge caramel person, but our Caramel Coffee is one of our best-selling flavors and I thought this would be a fun twist! Instead of using flavored coffee, I went with our Almost Bedtime roast which is a Costa Rican medium roast. It’s really quite delicious and has notes of vanilla and caramel which make it the perfect roast for this! While it was brewing I gathered my additional ingredients. Here’s what I used:

  1. Torani Coconut Syrup (you can order this on Amazon, or right from Torani.com!)
  2. Homemade caramel sauce (But Torani Caramel would work great here as well, and the same buying options as above for this – some grocery stores also carry it!)
  3. Chobani Sweet Cream creamer

Now that we have those gathered, here’s how to assemble it:

  • Swirl your glass with caramel sauce, and fill with ice.
  • Pour coffee over ice (like I mentioned above, I used Almost Bedtime but our Caramel would be great here and hint hint: so will March’s Coffee Club flavor of the month!)
  • Pour about 1/4 cup of Chobani Sweet Cream into a dish, add a bit of caramel if you’d like and froth up!
  • Pour cold foam over your coffee, drizzle with extra caramel if desired. Most importantly, enjoy this sweet and delicious coffee – with no drive thru necessary!

That’s a wrap! I hope you enjoy one (or all) of these easy-at-home iced coffees! As always, I’d love for you to come on over to our community to continue the conversation! If you prefer video content, you can always find me on TikTok here or YouTube here.
