Easy Gingerbread Latte (with coffee or tea!)

If you’ve been around for any amount of time you know two things about me: I love drinking delicious coffee and tea drinks, and I hate spending a million dollars on them! So, my latest and greatest creation is this absolutely DELICIOUS Gingerbread latte that you can make with just about any coffee or tea! My personal favorite pairings for this latte are Vanilla Black Tea, Spiced Masala Chai Tea, Cinnamom Medium Roast Coffee, & Cold Brew.

Whether you like a tea latte or a coffee latte, this is super simple and definitely an easy brew at home! To start, you’ll want to brew your coffee or tea, then get these ingredients combined. Here’s what you’ll need:

  • 1/4 cup dairy of your choice (we used sweet cream here but milk or a non-dairy option will also work)
  • 1/4 tsp ground cloves
  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp molasses

Combine all ingredients in a saucepan over medium heat whisking until they come to a simmer. Remove from heat and froth until light and fluffy. Pour desired amount over coffee or tea and enjoy!

Want to make it an extra special sweet treat? Top with crumbled gingerbread cookies, a sprinkle of cinnamon, and/or a swirl of white chocolate syrup! The possibilities are truly endless!

A few notes:

We found that this was perfect for one large or two smaller serving sizes for our own preferences but this would also depend on the size of coffee or tea you’re brewing and your desired flavor. If you like your coffee sweeter, you may want to add a sprinkle of sugar before adding the mixture to your drink. If you like your coffee or tea less sweet, you may opt to use plain milk instead of sweet cream.
